        应yL23411永利官网登录邀请,瑞典梅拉达伦大学和瑞典皇家理工学院首席教授,国际著名期刊《Applied Energy》主编严晋跃教授(Jinyue Yan)将于2014年12月6日-8日访问我校,将受聘我校客座教授,并做学术报告。报告时间地点如下,欢迎各位老师和同学踊跃参加!

        严晋跃教授是能源领域的著名专家,曾在天津大学、瑞典皇家理工学院、瑞典吕勒奥理工大学、瑞典梅拉达伦大学等多个国际著名的研究机构学习或任职。现任瑞典梅拉达伦大学和瑞典皇家理工学院首席教授,国际著名期刊《Applied Energy》主编,著名出版机构Wiley的洁净能源系统手册的主编( Handbook of Clean Energy Systems), 著名出版机构Elsevier出版的Energy Procedia的顾问编辑,Energy的助理编辑,以及十多个著名国际期刊的编辑委员会成员,在能源工程技术及其优化研究方面有着很深的造诣。自2013年起还担任由瑞典知识基金会和由ABB等十多家著名公司组建的未来能源轮廓(Future energy profile)机构的主任,是多个地区及国际会议的召集人或学术委员会成员,是七届国际应用能源会议的会议主席和学术委员会主席,在能源领域具有非常突出的学术影响力。已发表300多篇期刊论文,包括在Science发表一篇高水平论文,其H因子高达31,i10index达81。

Title: Future Transitions & Innovations of Energy Systems
 
A direct link between emissions and GDP is experienced in the most countries. The urgent actions for mitigating climate change call for the decoupling of the economic growth from emissions. Innovative climate change mitigation technologies and systems have critical roles to play in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing greenhouse gas sinks. However, further innovations for the wider adoption of existing climate‐friendly technologies, the development and deployment of demonstrated and innovative technologies, and increased utilization of non-fossil fuels are of importance together with the favorable policy incentives. Such options could create a new opportunities and possibilities for the future carbon-constrained economy. As an example, this lecture reviews the Swedish experience and examples on decoupling the development with emissions. In the presentation, the state-of-the art of the technologies, the policy incentives and barriers, and R&D needs are addressed. Different possibilities with integrated energy systems, involving all stakeholders to incubate technology innovations into implementation and commercialization enhanced by international cooperation are proposed and analyzed.
 

Short Bio: 
 

Dr. Yan is chair professor of Energy Engineering, Mälardalen University, and KTH-Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. He is director of Future Energy Profile, the energy platform (funding of ca 10 million Euro from Swedish Knowledge Foundation and industrial partners including ABB etc). He obtained his PhD at KTH in 1991. During 2001 to 2005, Dr. Yan was chair professor and head of Energy Engineering at Luleå University of Technology, Sweden. Prof. Yan’s research interests include simulation and optimization of advanced energy systems; renewable energy especially in bioenergy; advanced power generation; climate change mitigation technologies
and environment and policy; clean development mechanism (CDM), and fundamental engineering thermodynamics. Prof. Yan published ca 300 papers including the paper in Science. Prof. Yan is editor-in-chief of Applied Energy, advisory editor of EnergyProcedia (Elsevier); editor-in-chief of the Handbook of Clean Energy Systems (Wiley). He is the conference chairman/scientific chair of International Conference on Applied Energy ICAE, Hong Kong, Singapore, Italy, China, South Africa, Taiwan), the 3rd Int. Green Energy Conference (IGEC-III); Conf. Co‐Chair of IGEC‐IV. He is associate editor and editorial board members of several international journals. He serves as the advisory expert to the United Nation, European Union Commission, and Asian Development Bank, and other international organizations; Overseas Assessor of Chinese Academy of Sciences; and academic advisor to Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Hong Kong City University.
