讲座题目1:Wettability effects in liquid-vapor phase change
Liquid-vapor phase change phenomena like boiling and condensation are widely used in a variety of industrial processes because of its high heat transfer performance. In case of pool boiling, there are several factors affecting heat transfer characteristics. One of such factors is a wettability of the surface that varies between hydrophilic and hydrophobic. The lecture introduces the effect of hydrophilicity and hydrophobicity on the boiling characteristics, e.g. the onset of nucleate boiling and critical heat flux.
讲座题目2:Themophysical property measurements of high pressure hydrogen
Hydrogen is a promising energy career in the future carbon-neutral society. In December 2014, Toyota motors has started to sell a commercial fuel cell vehicle (FCV) into Japanese market and has been increasing its production year by year. The current FCV has 5kg of hydrogen at 70MPa in tank pressure and the hydrogen refueling station (HRS) has to handle hydrogen with higher pressure up to 100MPa to refill it to FCVs. Therefore, accurate thermophysical properties of hydrogen in a wide range of temperature and pressures are essential in practical use of hydrogen at such a high pressures. The lecture introduces how to measure density, viscosity and thermal conductivity up to 100MPa as well as the thermophysical property database of hydrogen we have developed.
